From inside the app
The fastest route is the feedback button in the app itself. It attaches the screen you were on and lets you include a screenshot, which means we can usually see the problem rather than ask you to describe it. Reports come back to you in your inbox in the app when we have answered or fixed them.
Getting an invite
Ironwood is invite-only while we are in beta. Ask for access and tell us a little about your training. We work through requests in batches and send a code to the address you gave us, from no-reply@ironwoodfit.com. If nothing has arrived after a few days, check your spam folder and then write to us.
Common questions
I have an invite. How do I create my account?
Open the link in the email. Your code is filled in already. You will set a name and password and answer a short set of training questions, and the app builds from there.
Does it work on my phone?
Ironwood runs in any modern browser and installs to your home screen like an app. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Can I use it without signal?
Yes. Log your sets as normal and everything syncs the moment the phone finds the network again. Gyms are basements; we planned for that.
How do I change my program?
Every prescribed day can be edited: swap a movement, change the sets, or skip it. On a program your coach wrote, you keep your logging and notes but the plan stays theirs to change.
How do I delete my account?
Settings, then Account, then Delete account. You confirm by typing DELETE. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is removed and when.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email us from your account address and we will send it. A self-serve export is on the way.
Something looks wrong in my program.
Tell us, and include the program name. Ironwood's programming is deterministic, so the same answers always produce the same program. That means we can reproduce exactly what you were given and tell you why it decided that, which is usually more useful than an apology.
